BridgeZone Ltd undertake diving, rope access and confined space examination and engineering assessment on Network Rail structures across the UK on behalf of Examination and Assessment appointed Consultants. Staff also retain pre-requisite experience in all aspects of rail structures, including maintenance and design.

We have mastered preparation and implementation of examination operations in full accordance with current procedures and guidelines, group and line standards and relevant legislation, including the Bridge Condition Marking Index (BCMI) and Tunnel Condition Marking Index (TCMI). All personnel within BridgeZone Ltd have extensive experience in working on and around the rail infrastructure. In order to comply with our stringent procedures, all staff hold Personal Track Safety Certificates; this is a minimum requirement for employment with BridgeZone Ltd.

We have developed and maintain various procedures in order to gain access to the rail infrastructure, which include:

  • Link-Up approval for all core disciplines
  • Sentinel Registration for sponsor of track competencies, and assessments
  • Rail Training Audit Services accreditation as an assessing organisation for technical competencies (ongoing)
  • Planning and executing line blockages and T3 possessions to facilitate lineside working
  • Network Rail Approved Examining Engineer
  • Bridge Strike Examiners
  • In-house Protection Controllers, COSS’s, Look-Outs, and Engineering Supervisors
  • Compliance with Network Rail Group and Line Standards for all operations
We have the ability to take on difficult access rail structure examination and deliver full reporting with minimal reliance on client organisation.
