POSITION: GRADUATE ENGINEER (INSPECTIONS)

Main Purpose
To undertake structural inspections and to produce inspection reports to a high standard ensuring that all works are undertaken safely and in accordance with Bridgezone Policies and Procedures.

Principal Tasks

- Undertake structure examinations to Network Rail Standards
- Undertake structure inspections to Highway Standards
- Assist Senior Examiners and Inspection Engineers with collation and submission of inspection reports
- Undertake inspections in accordance with pre-prepared Work Package Plans and Task Briefing Sheets
- Assist Management in the preparation of asset inspection tenders and quotations
- Undertake sufficient number of examinations to meet competency requirements
- Report any equipment that requires any repairs, servicing or calibration
- Report any accident, incident or near miss

Personal Requirements

Essential
- BSc / BEng Civil Engineering (or similar)

Desirable
- Structural Inspection experience
- Network Rail Personal Track Safety
- IRATA Level 1 Rope Access Technician
- Confined Space Entry
- HSE Diving Part III
